PURPOSE: A cancer diagnostic kit using a silicon nanowire is provided to ensure less cytotoxicity and to minimize loss and contamination of samples. CONSTITUTION: A silicon nanowire-based cancer diagnostic kit contains a substrate; a microfluidic PDMS(polydimethyl silioxane) channel connected to the same, and tumor cell-specific antibodies fixed on the surface of the silicone nanowire. The substrate is a silicon wafer. The tumor cell-specific antibodies are fixed by treating the silicon nanowire with O_2 plasma, and conjugating APTES(aminopropyltriethoxylsilane), GA(glutaraldehyde), and antibodies in order. The microfluidic channel also comprises a syringe pump for adjusting flow. |
