<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute treatment such as discharging without squeezing any excessive article by controlling the mixture of foreign matters in a PTP package as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This excessive article discharging device is installed above a container film 1 having a recessed pocket 1a formed therein. The excessive article discharging device includes a rotary shaft 11 rotated by the rotational force of a drive unit 13, and a cylindrical body 12 attached to the outer circumference of the rotary shaft. The inside diameter of the cylindrical body is larger than the outside diameter of the rotary shaft, the cylindrical body is vertically movable with respect to the rotary shaft. When an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body is brought into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the rotary shaft, the cylindrical body is rotated by the rotation of the rotary shaft.
