<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing method that enable suppression of coloring occurring in image recovery processing for a RAW image. <P>SOLUTION: Pixel interpolation processing is executed for a predetermined reference color component of a RAW image, and for each color component other than the reference color component, a color difference is obtained based on a pixel having a value and a corresponding pixel of the reference color component after the pixel interpolation processing. After image recovery processing is applied to each color component, a color difference is obtained again, and a pixel value is corrected depending on a change in the color differences before and after the image recovery processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
