<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress free capacity of a medium to be reduced due to the reason that image data is stored in a data format which is not in accordance with an image type. <P>SOLUTION: A compound machine 1 performs: image determination processing for determining whether an image type of the image based on image data X stored in a USB memory 30 is at least one of a color image and a monochromatic image; data presence determination processing for determining whether or not first image data which is not stored in a data format in accordance with the image type is present in the USB memory 30; and data conversion processing for converting the first image data to second image data which has a different data format and less data volume with respect to the first image data and for replacing the first image data with the second image data to store in the media when it is determined that the first image data is present in the USB memory 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
