<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate display unevenness by reducing light leakages which may occur at four corner portions of a display area 7 of a curved liquid crystal display device in the case of black display without increasing a cost and reducing a percentage of the display area 7 in the whole of a substrate of a liquid crystal panel 1. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device according to the present invention, the curvature of corner portions 5 of a liquid crystal panel 1 or rectangular regions 90 along not-curved edges including portions adjacent to the corner portions is smaller than the curvatures of other regions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
