<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image comparison method and an image comparison device which do not detect minute difference generated by drawing methods of raster conversion as a different area on comparing two raster images created from the same original drawing image by the raster conversion. <P>SOLUTION: An image comparison method includes the steps of: performing raster conversion from a first vector image into a first raster image by a first drawing method (20); performing raster conversion from a second vector image converted from the first vector image into a second raster image by a second drawing method different from the first drawing method (14); performing contraction filter processing or expansion filter processing on the first raster image (22) to generate a first expansion image; performing contraction filter processing or expansion filter processing on the second raster image (16) to generate a second expansion image; and detecting first and second different areas different from each other by comparing the second expansion image with the first raster image, and the first expansion image with the second raster image (24). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
