<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine, which is excellent in wear resistance to an aluminum material, and can largely reduce a ZnDTP containing a large amount of phosphorus and a metallic clarificating agent while maintaining the wear resistance to an aluminum material. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains a boronated imide-based dispersant or a boronated imide-based dispersant and a non-boronated imide-based dispersant, wherein the boron content (B mass%) originated from the boronated imide-based dispersants in the composition and the nitrogen content (N mass%) originated from the boronated imide-based dispersant or the boronated imide-based dispersant and the non-boronated imide-based dispersant therein satisfy the following expression (I): N≥B+0.05; and the phosphorus content (P mass%) and the content (M mass%) of the metal component originated from the metallic clarificating agent satisfy, based on the total amount of the composition, the following expression: P<0.03 and M<0.05. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
