<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal device, for preventing occurrence of display trouble caused by an impurity included in a sealing material, and to provide an electronic equipment includes the liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device 100 includes: an element substrate 10 and a counter substrate 20 as a pair of substrates; a sealing material 40, which is disposed along an outer edge of the pair of substrates in a planer view and bonds the pair of the substrates to each other; a liquid crystal layer 50 held between the pair of substrates; a pixel region E, which includes a plurality of pixel electrodes 15 on one of the pair of substrates and is located inside the sealing material 40; and a partition wall 23 formed at a position enclosing the pixel region E between the pair of substrates.
