<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp unit hardly causing disconnection even if external force is added to a discharge lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp unit 1 includes a case 5, a cover member 7 which is fitted on the case 5 and is fixed with a discharge lamp 3, an electronic circuit 17 which is housed in the case 5 and lights up the discharge lamp 3, and discharge lamp unit side terminals 19, 20 which are connected to terminals 13, 14 of the discharge lamp 3 and are conducted to the electronic circuit 17. Either the case 5 or the cover member 7 has a convex part 22 and the other has a concave part or a hole part 25, so that, when the cover member 7 is fitted to the case 5, the convex part 22 is inserted into the concave part or the hole part 25, and thereby, the cover member 7 is positioned against the case 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
