<p>This image processing device comprises: a base shape application unit which captures an image of a lifeform membrane surface, extracts an arbitrary structure included in the obtained image as a structure region, and generates a correspondence for either each pixel or each region within the extracted structure region to a prescribed plurality of types of base shapes; a structure region segmenting unit which, on the basis of the result of the application by the base shape application unit, segments the structure for each base shape which is included in a prescribed plurality of base shapes into regions; and a feature value computation unit which, on the basis of the result of region segmenting by the structure region segmenting unit, computes a feature value corresponding to frequency of appearance for each base shape by the result of region segmenting and/or the location relation between base shapes of one or more types by the result of the region segmenting.</p> |
