The method involves estimating level of low-pressure accumulator based on the behavior of pulsed electric motor-driven pressure fluid supply pump. The pump control value of pulsed electric motor-driven pressure fluid supply pump is obtained based on the pressure estimation model and estimated level of low pressure accumulator. The control value of an electric pump motor of the pressure fluid supply pump is determined. The incorrectly determined pump control value is detected corresponding to control value with respect to reference parameter. An independent claim is included for hydraulic brake system.
