PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor and a manufacturing method of the same, which can obtain high inductance L by optimization of a filling rate and Young's modulus of a magnetic powder, particularly.

SOLUTION: An inductor comprises: a coil; a core member including a first core in which a based housing part for the coil is formed and a second core covering the opening side of the housing part; and a filler filling a clearance with the coil in a nearly enclosed space between the housing part and the second core located on the open end side of the housing part. The core member is formed by compression molding of an Fe-based amorphous alloy powder and a binding agent. The filler is composed of a resin and a magnetic powder in which a Young's modulus of the resin is not less than 0.1 GPa and not more than 3.2 GPa, and the magnetic powder is contained in the filler in a range of not less than 30 vol% and not more than 60 vol%.
