<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve noise performance while avoiding degradation in mad performance and drainage performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire 1, a tread part 2 includes a shoulder circumferential groove 3 and a shoulder lateral groove 8. The shoulder lateral groove 8 includes an inner part 13 which is inclined with a first angle α1 of 10 to 20 degrees to a tire axis direction, a middle part 14 connected to the inner part 13, and inclined with a second angle α2 that is larger than the first angle α1, and an outer part 15 connected to the middle part 14, and extended with an angle α3 that is smaller than the second angle α2. Moreover, the shoulder lateral groove 8 includes a first shoulder lateral groove 8A with a large average groove width Wa, and a second shoulder lateral groove 8B with a small average groove width Wa.
