<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle axle bearing device which allows bearing fitting (press fit) work to be conducted easily by securing lubricity when a bearing is fitted (press fit) to a railroad vehicle axle. <P>SOLUTION: The railroad vehicle axle bearing device has a stationary ring unit (stationary ring (outer ring) 1) to be maintained always in a non-rotation state and a rotation ring unit (rotation ring (inner ring) 3, spacer 15) oppositely disposed in a relative rotatable manner with respect to the stationary ring unit and fitted to the railroad vehicle axle 13. In the rotation ring unit, an inner diameter surface (inner diameter surface 3h of the inner ring, inner diameter surface 15h of the spacer) to be fitted to the railroad vehicle axle is constituted, and the inner diameter surface is provided with a recessed part Pg formed by denting one part thereof continuously along the circumferential direction.
