<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the fun of a game, in a game machine including a variable display device for variably displaying two or more pieces of identification information. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine 100 includes: a variable display device 4a for variably displaying two or more pieces of identification information; and controllers 20 and 40 having a special game state control means configured to generate a special game state advantageous to a player when the game enters a predetermined specific stop mode, as a result of a variable display game in which the two or more pieces of identification information are variably displayed.
