<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery module which suppress and absorbs expansion or the like even if the expansion or the like occurs in a nonaqueous electrolyte battery in response to charging and discharging reaction and achieves high safety. <P>SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte battery module of this invention includes: multiple flat nonaqueous electrolyte batteries, multiple plate-like restriction members, multiple buffer members, and a sheath body housing the nonaqueous electrolyte batteries, the restriction members, and the buffer members. Each nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes a battery element and a flexible sheath material housing the battery element. The nonaqueous electrolyte batteries are laminated through the restriction members to form a battery laminated body.
