<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a substrate for a liquid crystal display device which can reliably align a liquid crystal without inducing dust or static electricity, and to provide the substrate for the liquid crystal display device, and the liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a substrate for a liquid crystal display device comprises the steps of: forming a film of material 102 on a substrate 101 for forming a groove to impart liquid crystal alignment property; forming a groove 103, by imprinting, to impart the liquid crystal aligning property to the material 102 for forming the groove on which a film is formed; forming a film of alignment layer material 104 that exhibits the liquid crystal aligning property by irradiation, on an upper face of the film on which the groove 103 is formed; and subjecting the alignment layer material 104 on which a film is formed to alignment processing to impart the liquid crystal aligning property by the irradiation 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
