<p>The fuel injector (10) has a nozzle body (11), in which a nozzle needle (15) is arranged, which moves up and down and is impinged with a force by a spring (32) in a direction of a sealing seat (25). The nozzle needle closes a nozzle hole assembly (23) in the nozzle body in a closed position. The nozzle needle is arranged in a high-pressure chamber (42) in nozzle body that is connected with a high pressure-connection. The end of the nozzle needle opposite to the sealing seat is radially encompassed by a guide element.</p>
