Disclosed is a distribution valve of a reciprocating gas motor, which comprises a valve body (1), a valve rod (2), a seal ring (6), a sheet-form switching valve block (8) and a seal cover (4). A switching valve block chamber communicating with a valve rod chamber is provided on the valve body (1), and a snap-groove being the same in width as the sheet-form switching valve block (8) is provided on the valve rod (2). The sheet-form switching valve block (8) is of a rectangular structure, the cross section of which is the same as that of the switching valve block chamber, and the sheet-form switching valve block has a first rectangular face and a second rectangular face which are opposite to each other, with the second rectangular face opposite to the first rectangular face being recessed to form a gas-guiding chamber (80), the sheet-form switching valve block (8) being provided within the switching valve block chamber, the first rectangular face and the snap-groove being fitted and snapped to each other, the seal cover (4) and an opening of the switching valve block chamber being fixed together after being fitted to each other to accomplish sealing, and on the seal cover (4) there being provided a guiding hole (40) and a threaded hole (41) which penetrate the seal cover (4). The distribution valve of the reciprocating gas motor has the advantage of long service life.
