PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing dozing off while driving is provided to accurately determine whether or not a driver dozes off by warning in advance before the driver completely dozes off. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing dozing off while driving comprises a camera(110), a drowsiness determining part(100), and a warning part(200). The camera is installed in a vehicle. The drowsiness determining part determines whether or not a driver dozes off by images taken by the camera. The warning part gives a warning to the driver according to the determination of the drowsiness determining part.
