<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents the generation of curl or cockle of a recording medium and cures ultraviolet cure ink more reliably. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device 10 includes: a paper feeding part 12 for feeding paper P; inkjet heads 56 of four colors for discharging aqueous ultraviolet cure ink onto a recording surface of the paper P; an ink drying treatment unit 68 provided downstream the inkjet heads in a conveying direction of the paper P and for heating and drying the aqueous ultraviolet cure ink on the recording surface of the paper P; a water applying unit 82 provided downstream the ink drying treatment unit in the conveying direction of the paper P and for applying water onto the paper P; and a UV irradiation unit 74 provided downstream the water applying unit in the conveying direction of the paper P and for irradiating the aqueous ultraviolet cure ink on the recording surface of the paper P with ultraviolet rays to fix ultraviolet rays. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
