摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material for a secondary battery arranged so that no irreversible capacity is produced. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode material for a secondary battery comprises at least a layered lithium manganese-based complex oxide, a conductive material, and a binder. The complex oxide is characterized in (1) it is expressed by the general formula: xLi[Li<SB POS="POST">1/3</SB>Mn<SB POS="POST">2/3</SB>]O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>(1-x)LiMeO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, where Me represents one or more kinds of transition metals, x meets 0<x<1; (2) assuming that the material belongs to a space group R(-3)m, the lattice constant thereof falls in a range defined by 2.864 &angst;&le;a&le;2.878 &angst; and 14.27 &angst;&le;c&le;14.39 &angst;; and (3)the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio of (003)plane to (104)plane meets the condition I(003)/I(104)>1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
