METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HARD COAT FILM, HARD COAT FILM, POLARIZING PLATE, FRONT PLATE AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hard coat film which can form a hard coat layer on a base material film formed from a (meta)acrylic resin, can form unevenness on an interface between the base material film and the hard coat layer at a time, and can prevent the occurrence of interference fringes.

SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a hard coat film includes the steps: coating a composition for a hard coat layer containing a binder resin and a solvent on a base material film formed from a (meta)acrylic resin to form a coated film; drying the coated film on conditions of a temperature of 90-110°C and a time of 1-10 minutes; and curing the dried coated film to form a hard coat layer.
