<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion apparatus which devises the layout of components in the electric power conversion apparatus and thereby improving the cooling efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power conversion apparatus 10 includes: a reactor 6; a power module 22 housing a switching element SW; a first cooler 25 contacting with the power module 22 and cooling the switching element SW; a bracket 5; and a second cooler 8. The bracket 5 supports a unit 20, formed by integrating the power module 22 with the first cooler 25, and the reactor 6 from the side or above so that the unit 20 and the reactor 6 are arranged forming an air gap therebetween.
