<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a print system which can easily check the presence of the printer which prints a desired print job. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 100 stores the print job in a memory region 110 of itself, and prints the print job upon receiving a print instruction on the print job. The printer 100 extracts a print executing device on the print job to be printed out of communicable printers, and acquires the position information of the print executing device. Then, an arrangement plan presenting the arrangement of the print executing device is outputted.
