<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance user's usability when the user displays device information. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 110a acquires display capability information DPa indicating display capability of a display unit 210a. Then, the control unit 110a acquires profile information to be used for displaying information related to a device corresponding to the display capability information DPa from profile information candidate groups PGA and PGB stored in devices A and B connected to the control unit 110a, and stores the profile information in a storage unit 120a.
