Friction clutch for a motor vehicle, more particularly for coupling a drive motor of a motor vehicle to a motor vehicle transmission, said clutch being provided with a counter-plate, a pressure plate (12) which is movable relative to the counter-plate in order to press a clutch plate between the counter-plate and the pressure plate, a pulley arrangement (16), particularly a differential pulley arrangement, for transmitting an actuation force to move the pressure plate relative to the counter-plate, at least one tension roller (24) coupled via a first traction means (20) to the pulley arrangement, the tension roller being movably guided, and a differential winch connected via a second traction means (26) to the tension roller in order to displace the tension roller, the differential winch (28) being rotatable about an axis of rotation substantially oriented in the axial direction of the friction clutch. This enables the friction clutch (14) to be actuated with minimal actuating force being exerted, without significantly increasing the design space requirement.
