PURPOSE: A device for registering an e-book comment and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to directly write a comment and to share the comment with other users while reading an e-book. CONSTITUTION: A comment receiving unit(210) receives a comment registration request message transmitted from an e-book viewer of a terminal. A comment registering unit(220) extracts e-book information from the comment registration request message. The comment registering unit registers a comment in an e-book corresponding to the extracted e-book information. When the comment is registered, an e-book information registering unit(240) updates the e-book information. A result transmitting unit(280) transmits a result message generated in the comment registering unit to the terminal.
