PURPOSE: A broadcast storage device and a broadcast storage method thereof are provided to efficiently store a highlight scene while saving a storage space. CONSTITUTION: A control unit of a broadcast storage device stores a broadcasting signal received according to a preset storage function in a storage unit(S20). An information receiving unit of the broadcast storage device receives event information which is time information about a highlight of the broadcasting signal from an external server(S30). The control unit deletes the broadcasting signal at a predetermined time earlier than an event information receiving time(S40). If a user requests the play of the broadcasting signal, the control unit plays only a highlight broadcasting signal(S50).
