<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump having a plurality of discharge ports each having a notch groove for relaxing surge pressure in a pump chamber divided by vanes adjacent to each other, and configured to reduce noise by synchronizing phases of pulsation of the oil pressure in each of discharge ports when the discharge pressure of the discharge ports are different from each other. <P>SOLUTION: In the vane pump 10, when the discharge pressure of discharge ports 51M and 51S are different from each other, the extension length A of the notch groove V1 provided in the discharge port 51M on a high-discharge pressure side is set longer than the extension length B of a notch groove V2 provided in the discharge port 51S on a low-discharge pressure side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
