PROTECTOR AND INSTALLATION METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector which enables the installation operation of a protection curtain to be conducted by indirect hot line work and an installation method of the same.

SOLUTION: A protector includes: a rear support arm 18 installed at a power pole 100; a T-shaped front support arm 14 which has a fixing part 14a installed at a bracket 130 for installing a power transformer 110 at the power pole 100 and a support part 14b connecting with an end part of the fixing part 14a; a first protection curtain unit 10 which has a first protection curtain 10a covering the front side of the power transformer 110 and a roll-up shaft around which the first protection curtain 10a is wound; and a pair of second protection curtains 12a attached to both end parts of the rear support arm 18 and both end parts of the front support arm 14 and covering both sides of the power transformer 110. The first protection curtain unit 10 is installed at the support part 14b by using an indirect hot line tool so that the roll-up shaft is arranged parallel to the power pole 100. The first protection curtain 10a is led out by using the indirect hot line tool and is attached to a predetermined position of the support part 14b.
