<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive image forming device capable of specifying a roller member in which deterioration has occurred. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes an image forming part, a plurality of paper feed parts having a paper feed roller for feeding a recording paper sheet, a paper sheet conveying part having at least one conveying roller for conveying the recording paper sheet to the image forming part, and a sensor arranged at a downstream side of a converging portion of a conveying path of the recording paper sheet from the respective paper feed parts and detecting the arrival of the recording paper sheet. At every image formation by the image forming part, the conveying time from a time point when the feeding of the recording paper sheet is started until the arrival of the recording paper sheet is detected by the sensor is measured, and it is determined that an abnormality exists in paper feeding from the paper feed part (specified paper feed part) feeding the recording paper sheet related to the measurement of the conveying time when the conveying time is longer than a target conveying time, and the paper feed roller and the conveying roller used for conveying the recording paper sheet from the specified paper feed part to the sensor are specified as the deteriorated roller members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
