Provided is a feature for recommending an item, which can increase item purchase desire of a user in an online game. A method for recommending the item of the online game, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: totaling the quantity of item sales per each level by inputting user item purchase information, which is obtained from a game server, into an item sales quantity totaling table for a level that matches the level of the user in a game from item sales quantity totaling tables which are provided for each of the levels; generating an item recommendation list for each of the levels by selecting items that will be included in an item recommendation list for a next cycle for each of the levels, according to an order of most-sold items per level, when an item purchase information totaling time limit, which is a time limit for inputting the item purchase information in a current cycle, is reached; and displaying the item recommendation list for the level that matches the level of the user when users connect after the beginning of the next cycle. |
