The device has a torsion measurement device (1) for measuring torsion of a motor car stabilizer that is formed as a sleeve shaft (2). A movement measurement device (8) measures a relative rotation of a part of a measuring shaft (3) i.e. telescopic pipe, located in a measurement plane (7) relative to the sleeve shaft. The measuring shaft is arranged outside a torque flow and/or power flow transmitted over the sleeve shaft. A motor and/or a gear box are arranged between the measurement plane and a test plane (4), where the gear box pressurizes the car stabilizer with rotational torque.
