ROTOR OF ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine which fixes permanent magnets more securely even when an adhesive or the like is not used or the used amount of the adhesive is reduced.

SOLUTION: A rotor 10 of a rotary electric machine includes a rotor core 20 and permanent magnets 30 fixed to the rotor core 20. A screw shape 33 is formed on an outer surface of each permanent magnet 30. The rotor core 20 has magnet insertion holes 23 used for fixing the permanent magnets 30 and in which inner surface irregular shapes 24 are formed at an irregular pitch P2 corresponding to a thread pitch P1.
