STEREOSCOPIC VIDEO DISPLAY SYSTEM, CONTROL SIGNAL CREATION DEVICE, AND PROJECTION VIDEO DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display system, a control signal creation device, and a projection video display device capable of reducing crosstalk without reducing luminance.

SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display system comprises: a projection video display device 7 having a light source 1, a DMD3 which alternately switches and displays a right-eye image and a left-eye image, and a color wheel 2 provided on an optical path of the light source 1 to the DMD3; and shutter glasses 9 which open and close a shutter in synchronization with the switching and display of the DMD3. The DMD3 performs non-display operation during a spoke period corresponding to a segment boundary of the color wheel 2. The shutter glasses 9 complete shutter opening and closing operation during the non-display operation by the DMD3.
