<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission X-ray generator 10 capable of improving X-ray generation efficiency by effectively utilizing electrons reflected by a transmission target. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission X-ray generator 10 generates X-rays by irradiating a transmission target with electrons via an electron passage path 4 formed by surrounding the circumference by an electron passage path forming member 3. The X-rays generated by irradiating a sub X-ray generating surface 5 provided in the electron passage path 4 with the electrons reflected by the transmission target are made possible to be taken out to the outside, and a constituent material of the transmission target and a constituent material of at least the sub X-ray generating surface 5 of the electron passage path forming member 3 are made as the same material having the atomic number of 40 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
