<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pay attention, when assembling a power storage system, so that an output of a power storage module is not turned on in assembling the power storage system. <P>SOLUTION: A power storage system has a plurality of power storage modules connected in series, and a pair of external terminals electrically connecting the plurality of power storage modules with exterior. In the power storage system, each of the plurality of power storage modules has: a power storage unit; a first terminal electrically connected between one end of the power storage unit and one of the pair of external terminals; a second terminal electrically connected between the other end of the power storage unit and the other of the pair of external terminals; a first switching element electrically connecting between the one end of the power storage unit and the first terminal; and a module controller controlling an on/off operation of the first switching element. At least one of the plurality of power storage modules has a power supply unit supplying power to the module controllers respectively included in the plurality of power storage modules in the case that power is supplied to the pair of external terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
