COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVING IN VIVO METABOLISM PARAMETER

[Problem] To provide a composition for improving an in vivo metabolism parameter. [Solution] A composition containing D-psicose as an active ingredient, which can be used for giving D-psicose at a dose of 5 g or more for each time continuously for the purpose of decreasing an in vivo metabolism parameter, i.e., a uric acid level and/or a level of a hepatic function indicator component. The level of 15 g gamma-GTP is significantly decreased from week 4 of the ingestion of the composition. When the composition is given continuously at a dose of 5 g or more in terms of D-psicose content three times a day, the level of gamma-GTP is significantly decreased from week 4 of the ingestion of the composition and the level of ALP is significantly decreased from week 2 of the ingestion of the composition.
