The assembly device has an attachment element (10) for the fastening of a primary armor plate (100) on a base portion (G). An attachment element (20) is connected with the attachment element (10) in a releasable manner so as to fasten a secondary armor plate (200) on the primary armor plate. The attachment elements are provided with screw thread portions. Two pressure surfaces are provided in the attachment elements respectively. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a multilayer armor; and (2) a method for assembling armor plates.
