PURPOSE: A car body is provided to reduce the deformation of a hooking unit and to reduce the noise of a side board while a car is moving. CONSTITUTION: A car body(6) comprises a side board(4), a hooking unit(1), and a contact member. The side board is installed on the car body to be opened. The hooking unit is fixed on the openable side board or other parts(5) of the car body, and locks the side board at a closed position. The hooking unit comprises a support body and a hook member. The support body is fixed or integrated on the openable side board or the other parts of the car body. The hook member is rotatably connected to the support body along a main rotary shaft. The contact member is fixed on the openable side board or the other parts of the car body.
