PURPOSE: A liquid homopolymer-containing high damping composition is provided to have excellent damping performance and processability and form a high damping unit with stable performance for a wide temperature range. CONSTITUTION: A liquid homopolymer-containing high damping composition comprises a liquid homopolymer to a diene-based rubber as a base polymer, and filler. The mixing ratio of the liquid homopolymer is 31 parts by weight or more per 100.0 parts by weight of the diene-based rubber. The liquid homopolymer is selected from a liquid isoprene rubber and liquid butadiene rubber. The filler is one or more selected from a group consisting of a silica and carbon black. The silica has a BET specific surface area of 120-300 m^2/g.
