<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable truck of an opening/closing device for a molten steel outflow gate, capable of using a current opening/closing device for molten steel outflow gate as it is without remodeling, and capable of safely, easily conducting the truck-attaching/detaching operation without needing a large space for such operation. <P>SOLUTION: The detachable truck 50 of the opening/closing device for a molten steel outflow gate is used when attaching or detaching the opening/closing device mounted to the bottom of a casting ladle, and includes: a couple of suspension arms 52 which engage, respectively with a couple of hanging members 15 provided to the opening/closing device 10 to enable suspension thereof; a vertical position adjustment mechanism 55 which can adjust the vertical positions of the suspension arms 52; the retention bars 51 retaining the arms 52 and the mechanism 55; and a position adjustment mechanism for vertically and transversely moving the retention bars 51.
