<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device, a charging device, an assembly, and an image forming apparatus, which can suppress a phenomenon that a winding-end edge or a winding-start edge of an elastic layer spirally wound around a shaft is come off by contacting with a cleaned body. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning device 100 includes a rotating cleaned body 14 and a cleaning body 102. The cleaning body 102 includes: a shaft 104 whose outline form has a circular shape and which is rotatably supported; an elastic layer 107 which is fixed in a manner to be spirally wound over from one edge side to the other edge side of the shaft 104 and which cleans the cleaned body 14 by rotating in a manner to contacting to the cleaned body 14 with a winding-start edge 107B and a winding-end edge 107C included; and a press part 108 which is formed integrally with the elastic layer 107, which is superimposed on the winding-end edge 107C of the elastic layer 107 extending in a rotation direction of the shaft 104, and which presses the winding-end edge 107C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
