<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which can properly change use propriety of a predetermined function of an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming system 300 comprises a storage device 200 and a copy machine 1. The storage device 200 comprises: a data storage area 201 for storing license information related to a predetermined function; and an attribute information storage area 202 for storing attribute information of a device and a use propriety flag indicating whether the license information can be used. The copy machine 1 has the predetermined function and comprises: an attachment unit 70 to which the storage device 200 is to be attached; and a use permission control unit 101 which enables the predetermined function to be used on the basis of the license information when the predetermined function is disabled and the storage device 200 is attached to the attachment unit 70, and if the license information is stored in the data storage unit 201 and the use propriety flag stored in the attribute information storage area 202 is ON. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
