<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem that, in the case that the number of sheets of a document that is a scan target is large, a constrained time of a user is increased because a scan operation must be performed again to transmit scan data to an external storage service if it is failed to upload the scan data. <P>SOLUTION: If an error occurs when uploading image data to a Web server, a shared account that is set to a shared folder of the Web server is acquired.
