摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling pipe that achieves uniform discharge flow rate of a cooling medium from a plurality of discharge ports regardless of the flow direction of the cooling medium. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes a rotating shaft 14, a rotor 16, and a stator 18. In a rotary electric machine cooling system 10, the rotating shaft 14, the rotor 16, and the stator 18 are arranged inside a motor case 12. Also, a cooling medium pump 24, a cooling medium supply pipe 26, a cooling pipe 30 with adjusting valves, and a terminal end plate 28 are provided for cooling coil ends 20 and 22 of the stator 18. The adjusting valves 50 and 60 in the cooling pipe 30 have: respective flat portions that are guided by respective slide grooves 34 and 36; and respective receiving plates 52 and 62 that are provided vertically on the respective flat portions and receive flow of a cooling medium. The flat portions are provided with: respective small holes 54 and 64 with smaller opening areas; and respective large holes 56 and 66, with larger opening areas, that are arranged across the respective receiving plates 52 and 62 from the respective small holes 54 and 64. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
