<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless generator that implements a compact and lightweight rotor and an increased generating capacity. <P>SOLUTION: In the brushless generator that has a rotary core 17 integrally rotatably mounted on a rotary shaft 14 and comprising pole cores 18, 19 having a plurality of claw magnetic poles 18A, 19A in mesh with each other, a stator core 29 fixed on an outer circumferential side of the claw magnetic poles 18A, 19A, and an exciting core 21 fixed on an inner circumferential side of the claw magnetic poles 18A, 19A and having a flange portion 21A and a cylindrical portion 21B wound with an exciting winding 22, and that has a radially outer air gap 25 and a radially inner air gap 26 formed between the exciting core 21 and the rotary core 17, the pole core 18 opposed to the flange portion 21A via the air gap 25 has a chamfer portion 20 at an outer circumferential corner portion, the air gap 25 is positioned inward of the chamfer portion 20, and the air gap 25 is formed to a sectional length longer than an axial width L of the flange portion 21A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
