<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a working machine by suppressing an output of an engine during a high-load operation, in an engine rotation speed control device for maintaining a rotation speed of an engine at a set rotation speed. <P>SOLUTION: This engine rotation speed control device for a working machine maintains a rotation speed of an engine at a set rotation speed independently of a work load. When the rotation speed of the engine is lowered due to the work load, a speed-increasing output is performed for recovering the rotation speed of the engine to the set rotation speed. After the speed-increasing output, when the rotation speed of the engine is not recovered to the set rotation speed even after the passage of a predetermined time, the set rotation speed is reset by performing subtraction processing of the set rotation speed by a predetermined amount.
