<p>Disclosed is a generator driven by an engine, which generator comprises a front fan (1), a permanent magnetic generator (2), front and rear air passage combinations (3, 17), an engine (4), a rear fan (5), a dual-segment muffler combination (18) and other main assemblies. The front air passage combination (3) accommodates the front fan (1), the permanent magnetic generator (2), the portion of the engine (4) above a cylinder, and an air-inlet pipe (9) and upper chamber body (10) of the muffler; the rear air passage combination (17) accommodates the rear fan (5) and front, middle, and rear covers (6, 7, 8) of a rear air passage, as well as a lower chamber body (11) of the muffler. The pressurized cooling air from the front and the rear fans (1, 5) of the engine (4) passes through the front and the rear air passages (3, 17) to cool successively, in order of temperature from low to high, the permanent magnetic generator (2), the engine (4) and the upper and the lower chamber bodies (10, 11) of the dual-segment muffler, reducing the temperature and the exhaust noise of the generator assembly, and at the same time the system noise of the generator assembly is also reduced due to the sound-proofing function produced by having the various components of the generator accommodated by the front air passage combination (3) and the rear air passage combination (17).</p> |
